Hector was born in 1976, just as the solar explosions of that groovy decade were reaching their peak, as was the totalitarian regime in Brazil - which has left behind only buildings of alien architecture to be marvelled at. He's since worked as a freelance writer, journalist, translator and DJ.

Published comic works appeared in JUST 1 PAGE #2, COMMERCIAL SUICIDE #1 and #2, ZOMBINGO [self-published through Night Office imprint, also featured in MANTICORE #3], STEVEBRAIN STRAIGHTJACKET and a short prose story in FRONT #9.

Coming up are short comics like THE POSEURS, MONDO ALBINO, DRY DAY, THE GREEN RISING as well as longer stories ADD YOU AS FRIEND, SEA DRAGON, DOC MAYAN and THE QUEER ADVENTURES OF SANTOS DUMONT.

IRAPUAN LUIZ
Irapuan Luiz is a freelance illustrator who began his comics career with short humor stories published in 2004 in the UK anthology, COMMERCIAL SUICIDE #1 and #2. His other credits include ZOMBINGO, a horror tale written by Hector Lima and published in 2005, the movie ZOMBIE PROM, for which he provided artwork under the art direction of Tom Mandrake, and the upcoming book CORRUPTION, with Ken L. Jones, Joe Rubinstein and Tom Luth. He is currently working on WILD BOYS: DAWN OF THE WILD, a mini-series written by Ace Masters, for Masterpiece Comics.

Irapuan lives in Palmeira, a small city in Brazil, with his wife Michele, their son and a cat.
