Why White Supremacists Support Barack Obama

If recent polls are to be believed, white voters favor John McCain over Barack Obama by nearly ten percentage points, but the McCain and Obama camps probably haven’t factored in the following fact: In an informal Esquire survey, three out of four white supremacists prefer Obama, while McCain is the clear favorite among black nationalists. (Sure, our methodology suffered from an extraordinarily low sample size — limited to four white supremacists and one black nationalist — but just because it wouldn’t fly with Gallup doesn’t mean there ain’t a kernel of truth in there.) This is just one of many surprising views that emerged after we talked to extremists about this historic electoral showdown between a 46-year-old black man and a 71-year-old white man.

The Endorsement From Hell

Saturday 25 October 2008
by: Nicholas D. Kristof, The New York Times

John McCain isn’t boasting about a new endorsement, one of the very, very few he has received from overseas. It came a few days ago:

“Al Qaeda will have to support McCain in the coming election,” read a commentary on a password-protected Islamist Web site that is closely linked to Al Qaeda and often disseminates the group’s propaganda.

The endorsement left the McCain campaign sputtering, and noting helplessly that Hamas appears to prefer Barack Obama. Al Qaeda’s apparent enthusiasm for Mr. McCain is manifestly not reciprocated.

“The transcendent challenge of our time [is] the threat of radical Islamic terrorism,” Senator McCain said in a major foreign policy speech this year, adding, “Any president who does not regard this threat as transcending all others does not deserve to sit in the White House.”

by Amy Pearson, is my pick of the month at the Zuda competition. thing is, it’s at 3rd in the competition’s last week. get in there, rate it 5 stars and click ‘VOTE’.

The discovery of Mathema would allow anyone to access ancient mystic powers, however, as soon as the secret is revealed it is threatened.
A group of sorcerers with Natural Born Power aim to keep it for themselves - calling themselves the ‘True’.
Emery Hall - considered troublesome by his father - is sent away and is at the Mathema lecture when it is attacked by the True. He escapes with the Mathema device and William Wenbury - the young son of Mathema’s discoverers.
Escaping does not prove the end and they must find a way to protect the secret before they are silenced.
William - taught by his parents - can use Mathema better than anyone else; he hopes the skills will help him survive long enough to tell of his parents’ work. Emery finds his own secrets and fears his loyalty to Mathema may become unclear.
Beth a young, forward thinking sorceress believes Emery can help her stop the elitist True. But first she must earn Emery and William’s trust and help them survive. Emery’s task is complicated further when a member of his family presents yet another claim on Mathema.

fake attack on mccain supporter

“More and more questions emerge over the horrible story of the McCain campaign worker who says she was attacked in the street in Pittsburgh by a black man who carved the letter ’B’ on her face and told her: “You are going to be a Barack supporter.” Police now plan to administer a lie-detector test over contradictions in her account. “If the incident turns out to be a hoax,” writes a senior Fox News executive, “Senator McCain’s quest for the presidency is over, forever linked to race-baiting.”

more here, here and here.

the development is even better:

Police sources tell KDKA that a campaign worker has now confessed to making up a story that a mugger attacked her and cut the letter “B” in her face after seeing her McCain bumper sticker.

GOP Rep. Rants Against ‘Anti-American’ Forces In Congress

from today’s Popbitch:

If you think Sarah Palin is scary, meet
Republican congresswoman Michele Bachmann.
On TV this week she called for an
investigation to root out “anti-American”
sentiment in Congress. McCarthyite, much?
Within 24 hours Democrat bloggers had pledged
almost half a million dollars for the campaign
of her opponent, the delightfully named
Elwin Tinklenberg.

An Examination of Obama’s Use of Hidden Hypnosis Techniques in His Speeches

THE EVIDENCE IS HERE: This document contains over 60 pages of evidence
and analysis proving Barack Obama’s use of a little-known and highly deceptive
and manipulative form of “hack” hypnosis on millions of unaware Americans,
and reveals what only a few psychologists and hypnosis/NLP experts know.

Barack Obama’s speeches contain the hypnosis techniques of Dr. Milton Erickson, M.D. who developed a
form of “conversational” hypnosis that could be hidden in seemingly normal speech and used on patients
without their knowledge for therapy purposes. Obama’s speeches intentionally contain:

- Trance Inductions
- Hypnotic Anchoring
- Pacing and Leading
- Pacing, Distraction and Utilization
- Critical Factor Bypass
- Stacking Language Patterns
- Preprogrammed Response Adaptation
- Linking Statements/ Causality Bridges
- Secondary Hidden Meanings/Imbedded
Suggestions
- Emotion Transfer
- Non-Dominant Hemisphere Programming

Colin Powell endorses Obama

Appearing on Meet the Press, former Secretary of State Gen. Colin Powell says he’s voting for Democrat Barack Obama.

a pretty centered and mature statement from the former military man who’s a Republican himself. made me wonder… what if he had chosen to run against Obama? that’d make for an even more interesting race. but the stupid white men would probably never let him.

the MAJOR at LYING IN THE GUTTERS

last monday Comics’ favourite journalist Rich Johnston [or, as some like to say, “rumour monger”] mentioned THE MAJOR in the middle of a column that may have gotten a lot of attention, as he talked about Cartoon Network adapting some of DC’s Zuda webcomics into TV pilots and the guy who could be the next Dr. Who.

For those who liked or hated “War Heroes,” comes “The Major” as the USA invades Brazil to rescue a bank manager from a drug lord. If you were indifferent to “War Heroes,” don’t worry about it.

thanks for the plug, Rich! i read LITG religiously every Monday night an loved to see the comic mentioned there - in a situation not related to late payments or any other juicy stuff, haha.
