este é o primeiro post da categoria Extra no site do Major, e quis começar com um pequeno design que você deve ter visto na página 01 do BOMBS OVER BRAZIL.

A.A.A [ou “A3″, “Triplo A” para os agentes veteranos - que quer dizer Agência Americana de Antiterrorismo, antiga Agência de Atividades Anti-Americanas] é o corpo de ponta financiado pelo governo dedicado a protejer a soberania dos EUA quando nenhum outro braço oficial pode. é chefiada pelo Coronel Tom Keiser, o caolho no avião, e o Major responde diretamente a ele.

em geral esse tipo de design é feito pelo Irapuan em cima dos meus conceitos, mas eu tinha a idéia tão clara na mente e o Photoshop estava ali então em 5 ou 10 minutos o logo saiu [er, e dá pra ver que foi rápido, as pontas do triângulo \ pirâmide não tocam a borda arredondada direito]. Eu queria algo bem simples que contivesse as iniciais e tivesse um jeito de abelha, de alguma forma.

em termos de referência, devo ter sido influenciado por alguns desenhos animado / HQs dos anos 70 ou 80, mas não saberia informar nada específico; eu simplesmente acho que preto e amarelo podem cair muito bem.

this is the first installment of the Extra cathegory of The Major’s website, and I wanted to start with a little piece of design that you may have seen at page 01 of BOMBS OVER BRAZIL.

A.A.A [or “A3″, “Triple A” for those oldskool agents - which stands for American Antiterrorism Agency former Anti-American Activities Agency] is the spearhead government-financed body dedicated to protect US’ sovereignty when no other official branch can. It’s headed by Colonel Tom Keiser, the one-eyed guy in the plane, and the Major responds directly to him.

usually this kind of design is done by Irapuan after my concept ideas, but I had it so clear in my mind and Photoshop was just there after 5 or 10 minutes we had a logo [and it shows in the triangle\pyramid not properly touching the round border, er…]. I wanted something very simple that contained all the first letters and had a bee-like feeling somehow.

in terms of refference, I may have been influenced by some TV cartoons / comics from the 70s or 80s, but I wouldn’t know of any specific one. I just think black and yellow can go along very well.
